As soon as you step inside, the aroma of freshly baked pastries envelops you, transporting you straight to a quaint Greek bakery. The selection here is truly impressive—each item crafted with love and attention to detail. One standout offering is the Bougatsa with Vanilla Milk Cream, a sweet handmade delicacy that strikes the perfect balance of creamy and crispy. At just £4.80, it's a vegetarian delight that deserves a sprinkle of icing sugar and cinnamon for that added touch of indulgence.

  • Baklava from the Giannena region offers a taste of tradition, boasting layers of phyllo pastry and syruped walnuts for only £4.55.
  • For those with a sweet tooth, the Assortment of Greek Sweet Bites (250g) presents an exquisite selection of heavenly treat nests, including Walnut and Pistachio combinations.

And let's not forget about the beverages. The Freddo Espresso and Freddo Cappuccino serve as perfect companions to your pastries, ensuring a revitalizing experience in every sip. The Iced Signature Chocolate and delectable Pumpkin Spice Americano, especially during the winter months, bring a festive spirit to your coffee experience.

The menu also features a range of local delicacies, including traditional cheese like the Greek Gruyere cheese Graviera and satisfying dips like Tzatziki. Each product delivers an authentic taste of Greece, making this café a treasure trove for food lovers.

Customer reviews echo the sentiments of many who have walked through its doors. Mike Watson raves about the “superb pastries and friendly staff,” while others like Camila Martins highlight the Spanakopita as one of the best they've ever tasted. With a genuine sense of hospitality from the staff and a menu that pays homage to the rich culinary tradition of Greece, it’s no wonder that diners keep returning.

The pastries and cakes are superb and the girls that run it are so friendly. So good we went back the next day for more!Having spent time in rural Greece it felt like a return to holiday times in the med.Vegetarian options: Plenty of them and obvious. The girls will keep you straight.Vegans go elsewhere.

The place is so cute, the food is amazing, I'm going to miss the Spanakopita, the best I've ever had. The cookies are delicious, they are so light that I would eat kg of them. And the lady who works there was extremely kind.

By chance that this place was open so yeah, it's like the place to go.At about am, we were heading towards Edinburgh Castle but the weather was too cold for us to handle... Hahahaha ... So after we parked the car, we walked around for a few minutes for photos, and we immediately decided to get something warm to drink instead.Let's dive in.Food:Pastries looked extremely attractive and appealing. We decided to buy some cookies which were definitely nice-tasting. A note, we did ask d contents before purchasing so it's up to you to verify, as Muslim travellers ya.Service:Staff were very friendly and accommodative to us. Answered our queries very well and were patient with us. Just check out which cookies we took in the pix taken yah.. it's in jarsAtmosphere:Location of the shop is basically less than mins away from the Carpark of the base of Edinburgh Castle. The shop looked very welcoming and there we some board games that we could use to spend time with family/friends. They also have a coat stub to hang coats right beside the seats. We enjoyed our time thoroughly here.. thank you to this place for opening early.. yayyy Cheers!Parking: Just a note. The entry door to the shop slams abit, so don't get too shocked ya

As a Greek that lives abroad I was extremely impressed with the variety of products this place has. I am not talking only for the good that they bake but you can find literally anything from Greece. I was just amazed. We got breakfast from there and of course a freddo espresso was a must to accompany our pastries. Everything was very tasty!I highly recommend you to visit this place and try all the Greek goods they have!
